Cindy Rushing began her career as a Certified Medical Assistant in 1992. Ms. Rushing quickly found the place she truly enjoyed was the administration office. She moved into the insurance department after three years of general nursing for a pediatric nurse practitioner. Ms. Rushing submitted insurance claims and supervised the Medicaid program for a multi-physician practice prior to taking time off to have a family.
When Ms. Rushing returned to the workforce in 2002, she hit the ground running as a Senior Claims Analyst for a durable medical equipment billing company. She has been specializing in DME billing, consultation, healthcare workflow and business analysis. She has been a part of the Billing Management Services managemet team for seven years.
As the Business Development Manager, Ms. Rushing has assisted in start - up consultation for a CLIA - Waived laboratory and a Certified Diabetic Education Center. She has also assisted the company's clients in evaluating their current DME profitability by creating the DME Performance Evaluation. Ms. Rushing is also credited with the sales and marketing campaigns for Billing Management Services, which have increased company visibility nearly 50% to date.
