My name is Olivia Ivar Ashley. I'm a public school teacher and counselor with graduate degrees in psychology from Indiana University and the Citadel and study at universities in London and Paris.
My first teaching assignment was with a group of throw- way teens. I heard one of them say, "There's no meaning to life." I resolved to write books for teens from a personal viewpoint. That's how I became interested in helping parents to help their teens.
